The Inner Path Traveler
Greetings, my name is Erica. My mission is to teach all people how to find their inner path to enlightenment. I assist people to develop tools of discovery so they can reignite their inner flame and live a life path that unifies their spirit in the world. The work I offer helps people find their light, which may have dimmed so that it will shine brightly for their reality.
The healing work I do, called “curandismo”, weaves the natural and spiritual vines inside us that can help heal the body, mind, and spirit. I have journeyed and studied ancient traditions across the planet; Tibetan Buddhism, Amazonian Shamanism, Aboriginal DreamWork, Mexican curandismo, and herbal medicine, as well as transpersonal psychology. I share my life experiences and studies through mentoring, classes, rituals, and one-on-one work. I use spiritual inquiry, astrology, indigenous wisdom, meditation techniques, channeling, herbs, and I work with sacred plants geared toward the individual’s unique opening to their larger reality.
I have sat at the foot of many teachers with a profound impact on my healing work. I began studying Buddhism as a child and was blessed to go to India in 1978 where my studies were deepened by spiritual experiences that ultimately led me to the foot of the Dalai Llama and Osho. The many meditations I practiced showed me what it meant to be truly present with all that I do, “inside and out”. When I returned to the States, I studied further with teachers such as Warner Earhart, Stephi Auston, and Isa Guicciardi. In 2004 I had further studies with Shipibo elder Don Jose Campo and delved even further with honorable teachers like Ralph Metzner, Tito la Rosa, and Oscar Miro-Quesada. Along the way I started studying the Diamond Heart Approach that I’ve used in my work for over ten years in this journey of spiritual inquiry and realization., Studying with Diamond Heart has woven together with the diverse threads of my healing work with clients into a unified vine and rooted my practice into the ancestral traditions relevant to meeting current world challenges.
I believe we can learn the path back to physical, emotional, and spiritual awakening through accelerated ritual techniques that can be taught to anyone. The techniques enable clients to teach themselves and thereby experience awakening directly. The re-integration with the self is an act of healing that goes beyond the healing of the personal self and its desire for spiritual unity. It is an act of evolution for the collective spirit as well. In helping the individual towards healing and wholeness, the group soul of the word is blessed as well.
My prayer is that we all remember that we are many facets of the same Source, inter-connected at our core much like the roots of trees in the many forests of the world, we are one.
I am a Mesa Carrier, Ordained Minister, and Sound Healer. For more than 30 years I have studied and practiced Neo-Shamanism. And has been trained in various Peruvian shamanic practices, have a private practice, and facilitates group journey work.
